Pet Friendly Unit

Punga Lodge is one of few accommodation providers on Waiheke Island which is pet friendly so you don’t have to leave your best friend at home! We have a chalet where your small or medium sized (up to 20 kg) pet is welcome to join you providing they are sociable and well behaved. The chalet is at a far corner of the property so your pet won’t be disturbed by other people walking past and it has a private grassed area in front including a small penned off run which is visible from your deck. The chalet is two storey with lounge, full kitchen, bathroom plus gated deck with gas bbq at the lower level. Upstairs is a queen bedroom with a little deck plus a twin room with two single beds. And a dog bed – which can go anywhere you want to put it. In front of the chalet is private grassed area (not fenced) for play and the necessary. And also a small pen with kennel for your use. There is an additional charge of $20 per night for a pet except for stays of five nights or longer when they can stay free (you will need to contact us directly to organise this). Free wifi and complimentary homemade afternoon teas daily. Continental breakfast available at extra cost.
