Waiheke Island self catering accommodation with panoramic sea views is found at Tawa Lodge’s hill top location which looks out over Oneroa Bay and beyond to Little Barrier Island. It’s an ever changing sea and skyscape and you can take in the view from our self contained units, bed and breakfast wing, garden and outdoor decks.

Little Oneroa Beach with its beautiful white sand swimming beach is a six minute walk from Tawa Lodge and it’s a 12 minute walk to the main village of Oneroa. Tawa Lodge welcomes honeymooners, couples and single guests providing a range of accommodation and pricing from the premium Aroma Del Mare honeymoon cottage to split level bed and breakfast rooms for the budget conscious traveller. Tawa Lodge is not suitable for families or children under 12 years (check out our family accommodation at Punga Lodge).

   The ultimate romantic destination. This cottage has panoramic sea views over Oneroa Bay through floor to ceiling windows and glass doors opening onto your private deck.

   Tawa House

   The Tawa House is ideal for a longer holiday stay as well as a short break is this generously proportioned two storey house. Downstairs there is a large lounge / dining area with Kent fireplace, 40” flat screen tv, dvd and free Wireless internet.

   Tawa Studio

   From your private deck enjoy huge views out over Oneroa Bay from early light to sunset. Accessed via external stairs, the studio has a king bedroom / lounge with fridge but no kitchen facilities (your housekeeper will take care of any dishes). There is an en suite bathroom with a dressing room off this which also has a double bed.

   Budget B and B Rooms

   These rooms are perfect for guests on a budget. There are three bed and breakfast rooms. Each room is split level with its own private little lounge with TV and free wi-fi and stairs to a loft queen bed. A generous continental breakfast basket for two is provided to each room daily.
